Name of the Post, No. of Post, Pay Scale and Qualification:
1) Associate Professor in Computer Science:
No. of Post: 1
Pay Scale: Rs. 1,31,400/-
Age Limit: Not more than 54 years on the last date of receipt of the application.
Essential Qualification:
i) Master's degree in Computer Science from a recognized University with 55% marks (or equivalent grade in point-scale where grading system is followed).
ii) Good academic record with a PhD degree from a recognized university in the concerned/ affiliated/relevant discipline.
iii) Except for the duration of the PhD, at least eight years of teaching experience and / or research in the academic / research position equal to the assistant professor in the university, college or recognized research institute. Research with at least five publications as evidence of published work and books and / or research / policy papers.
iv) Contributions in academic innovation, design of new courses and courses and technology-intermediate teaching-learning process, along with evidence of guided doctoral candidates and research students.
v) The minimum score set in the academic performance indicators (API) based performance-based appraisal system (PBAS) set by the UGC.
Desirable Qualification:
i) A Degree / Diploma in Distance Education or Work Experience at Distance Learning Institute.
ii) Adequate knowledge of computer.
iii) Proficiency in both English and Assamese languages.
2) Academic Consultant in Social Work

Essential Qualification:
i) Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed), with the relaxation of marks for SC/ST/differently able candidates according to the UGC guidelines for the purpose of qualification on Master's degree in relevant subject from a recognized university.
ii) Qualifications in the National / State Level Eligibility Test (NET / SLET) organized for the purpose by any agency approved by the UGC or UGC. However, the candidates, who are awarded the PhD. According to the University Grants Commission (PhD Degree Award for Minimum Criteria and Procedures) Rules, 2009, the minimum qualifying requirement of NET / SLET will be free from the requirement.
