Reserve Bank of India Recruitment 2018:

The Reserve Bank of India Services Board (Board) invites applications on the basis of contract from eligible candidates for the posts mentioned below in the Reserve Bank of India (RBI / Bank)

Apply online for legal consultants positions in grades 'F' and grade 'C' / 'D' in RBI, Maharashtra on contract basis. Online application is invited by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) from midnight to 12:00, 21 September 2018 to 05, 2018 for 6 vacancies.

Recruitment Details:

Name of the Post: Legal Consultant (Grade “F”), Legal Consultant (Grade “C” / “D”)

Total No. of Vacancies: 6

Age Limit:

For Legal Consultant (Grade “F”): 45 Years to 55 Years

For Legal Consultant (Grade “C” / “D”): 30 Years to 45 Years

Application Fee: For SC/ ST/ PWD- 100/- and For Gen/ OBC- 600/-

Education Qualification & Work Experience:

Legal Consultant (Grade “F”):

Qualification:

1. Graduation degree in Law recognized by the Bar Council of India for the purpose of nomination as an advocate with at least 50% marks or equivalent in the total of all semester / years.

2. Master Degree/ PhD in Law from a recognized University.

Experience:

At least 'fifteen years' experience as a participant in a legal firm as an Advocate or a Law officer in the legal department of a large bank / financial institution / statutory corporation or in the legal department of the central / state government or providing legal advice. 

Legal Consultant (Grade “C” / “D”):

Qualification:

1. Graduation degree in Law recognized by the Bar Council of India for the purpose of nomination as an advocate with at least 50% marks or equivalent in the total of all semester / years.

Experience:

At least 'Seven Years' experience as a participant in a legal firm as an Advocate or a Law officer in the legal department of a large bank / financial institution / statutory corporation or in the legal department of the central / state government or providing legal advice.

Pay Scale:

3,00,000 (Without Housing)

1,75,000 (With Housing) subject to availability.

Selection Procedure:

Selection will be done through interview only. Decision on the familiarity and ability of the candidate to deal with issues related to the Banking Regulation Act, 1949, RBI Act of 1934 and FEMA, 1999, etc., can also be decided on other things during the interview.
