Name of the Post: Junior Assistant.
Total No. of Posts: 4 [SC-1, OBC-2, STP-1]
Qualification: Graduates in any discipline from a recognized university.
Candidates should have at least 6 (six) months Diploma / Certificate in computer proficiency in both English and Assamese from an accredited institution. They should have good working knowledge of office productivity software equipment (working knowledge in MS-Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
Age Limit: 18 to 44 years as 01-10-2018. In case of ST / SC, OBC / MOBC, and ex-servicemen, the upper age limit is relaxable according to the government rule.
Pay Scale: Rs. 14,000 to 49,000/- per month + Grade Pay Rs. 6,200/-
Selection Procedure:
1. Candidates whose applications are accepted will be required to join in multiple options written examination on the date of notifying them and the course details will be communicated to the candidates through the calling letter.
2. Candidates of the vacant posts will be listed briefly according to the rules based on the marks obtained in the written examination (multiple options). After the written examination, the short listed candidates will have to appear in the Computer Practical Test, which will be notified over time. They will have to take all the original testimonials i.e age proof certificate, caste certificate, educational qualification certificate, computer proficiency certificates etc.
How to Apply:
1. The application should be accompanied by the following documents:
a. Self certified copies of all the certificates / mark sheets from HSLC, onwards in support of educational qualification along with age, caste certificate, computer diploma / certificate and other documents.
b. Affix a copy of the self-certified passport size recent photograph in the application form and two copies of passport-size photographs should be duly attached to the self-certified application.
c. A self-addressed envelope size (22 cm x10 cm) suffers the stamps of Rs. 5 only.
2. Candidates will have to register their names in the employment exchange and registration number. The date should be mentioned in their application form.
3. Candidates serving in government should submit their application through the appropriate channel.
4. Candidates / applicants have to write clearly the name of the post applied for the top of the sealed envelope containing the application (in the bold letter). Application can be submitted to the Director of Fisheries, Assam, Guwahati, Meen Bhawan, PO. Gopinath Nagar, PIN781016 before deciding the last date. (Application received through post after the deadline for receipt will not be entertained.)
5. Eligible candidates for the appointment will be governed by the new set of pension rules which have already been prepared with the contribution of the State Government by the pension scheme. NO through OM BW / 7/2008 / Pt. / 40, dtd. 06/10/2009.
6. Incomplete application will be rejected without giving any information to the candidates.
7. No TA / DA will be provided by the Department to participate in the written examination.
8. The department will not be responsible for any loss of application for transit or postal delay.
9. No application will be received after the expiry of the last date fixed.
