Online applications are invited by The High Court of Gauhati till 5.00 PM of 27/11/2018 from the citizens of India as defined under Article 5 and 6 of the Constitution of India for filling up the vacancies (existing + anticipated) of LDA/ COPYIST/ TYPIST for the District Judiciary of Assam.

Recruitment Details:

Name of the Posts: LDA / Copyist / Typist

Total No. of Posts: 158 [UR:111 , SC:10 , ST/P:14, ST/H:5, OBC/MOBC:18 , PWD:0 ]

Educational Qualification:

(i) A candidate must be a Graduate in any stream from a UGC recognized University as on the last date of submission of application.

(ii) He/she must have the working knowledge of computer.

(iii) The candidate should have adequate knowledge of the Official Language of the State of Assam (Assamese)

Age Limit:

General: 18 to 44

OBC/MOBC: 18 to 47

SC/ST: 18 to 49

PWD: 18 to 54

Pay Scale: Rs. 14,000- 49,000 with Grade pay of Rs.5,600/- per month.

Application Fee:

For SC/ST: Rs. 150/-

For Others: Rs. 300/-

Selection Procedure:

Stage-1: Common Written Test (OMR based Objective Type Questions with Multiple Choices) of two hour duration of 120 marks.

Stage-2: Viva Voce.

Note: A candidate is allowed to submit one application form only against a district of his/her choice. Candidature of a candidate will be considered for all the categories of posts (LDA/COPYIST/TYPIST) of all the establishments of that particular district.

A Common Written Examination will be held for selection to the posts of WA/COPYIST/TYPIST for all the establishments of all the districts and selection will be made district-wise. On conclusion of the selection process, posts to the selected candidates of a particular district will be allotted as per the norms to be decided by the High Court subject to availability of posts.
