Essential Qualifications:
1. Post-Graduate Degree in Ayurveda in the concerned Subject recognized under IMCC Act, 1970.
2. 5 Years of Post-Graduate Teaching Experience as Reader/Associate Professor in the concerned Subject or 5 Years Research Experience in PB-3 (Rs. 15,600–39,100) with Grade Pay Rs. 7,600 with NPA.
Or
15 Years Combined Experience in Teaching as Reader/Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor/Lecturer in the concerned Subject or 15 Years Research Experience in the Pay Scale of PB-3 (Rs. 15,600–39,100) with Grade Pay of Rs. 7,600, Rs. 6,600 and Rs. 5,400 with NPA, respectively, out of which minimum 3 Years Post-Graduate Teaching Experience/Research Experience in the Pay Scale of PB-3 (Rs. 15,600-39,100) with Grade Pay Rs. 7,600 with NPA.
3. Minimum 5 Research Publications indexed in Index Medicus or National Journals.

2. 5 Years Teaching Experience out of which 3 Years in Post-Graduate Teaching in the concerned Subject or 5 Years Research Experience in PB-3 (Rs. 15,600–39,100) with Grade Pay Rs. 6,600 with NPA.

10 Years of Combined Experience in Teaching as Assistant Professor/Lecturer in the concerned Subject or 10 Years Research Experience in the Pay Scale of PB-3 (Rs. 15,600–39,100) with Grade Pay of Rs. 6,600 and Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400, respectively, out of which at least 2 Years of Post-Graduate Teaching Experience/Research Experience in PB-3 (Rs. 15,600-39,100) with Grade Pay of Rs. 6,600.

10 Years of Combined Experience in Teaching as Assistant Professor/Lecturer in the concerned Subject or 10 Years Research Experience in the Pay Scale of PB-3 (Rs. 15,600–39,100) with GP of Rs. 6,600 and GP of Rs. 5,400 respectively out of which at least 2 Years of Post-Graduate Teaching Experience/Research Experience in PB-3 (Rs. 15,600-39,100) with GP of Rs. 6,600.

10 Years Combined Experience of Teaching as Assistant Professor/Lecturer in the concerned subject or 10 Years Research Expereince in the Pay Scale of PB-3 Rs. 15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay Rs. 6,600 and Grade Pay Rs. 5,400, respectively with NPA out of which at least 2 Years of Post-Graduate Teaching Experience/Research Expereince in PB3 with Grade Pay Rs. 6,600.

(i) PG Qualification in Ayruveda in the concerned subject recognized under IMCC Act, 1970.
(ii) Minimum 3 Research Publications indexed in Index Medicus or National Journals.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 Years on the Closing Date.
