Educational
Qualification: The candidates must have the latest UGC
norms or 55 % marks in the Master Degree Level in the relevant subjects. A
relaxation of 5 % marks may be provided to the SC/ST and differently abled
candidates. A relaxation of 5 % marks may be provided to the Ph. D holders who
have obtained the Master Degree prior to 1991.
The candidates must clear the NET/SLET/SET conducted
by UGC. The candidates who have been awarded Ph D Degree in accordance with the
UGC (Minimum standard and procedure for award of Ph. D Degree) Regulation. 2009
shall be exempted from the requirement of minimum eligibility condition of
NET/SLET/ SET.
