IIM Shillong Recruitment 2019 for Professor/ Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor:

Recruitment Details:

1. Professor / Professor of Practice

Pay Scale: Level-14A Initial Basic Pay Rs. 159100/-

Educational Qualification/ Experience:  Ph.D. with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent with a very good academic record throughout.

Minimum 10 years’ experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IIMs, NITIE, IISc Bangalore and IISERs.

2. Associate Professor / Associate Professor of Practice

Pay Scale: Level-13A2 Initial Basic Pay Rs. 139600/-

Educational Qualification/ Experience: Ph.D. with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.

Minimum 6 years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor/ Senior Scientific Officer/ Senior Design Engineer in the AGP / GP of Rs. 8000/- and above.

3. Assistant Professor Grade-I / Assistant Professor of Practice

Pay Scale: Level-12 Initial Basic Pay Rs. 101500/-

Educational Qualification/ Experience: Ph.D. with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.

Minimum 3 years teaching/research/industrial experience (exclusive period of doing Ph.D).
