Scale: Rs. 50,000
per month (consolidated pay). Higher salary may be considered for those with
higher qualification & demonstrated experience.
Educational
Qualification and Experience: Post Graduate
qualifications in an appropriate discipline from accredited and recognized
Institutions with specializations in areas of Counseling and Psychotherapy or
Clinical Psychology.
Experience:
Applicants should have experience of more than 5 years as practicing
professionals or as in-house counselors. In exceptional cases, the Institute
Authority may relax the experience criterion. Experience of similar work in
higher educational institutions will be given weightage.
The applicant selected will be required to provide
counseling and mental health services primarily to the students. However, they
will be required to provide similar services to the other employees of the
Institute as may be assigned by the Competent Authority from time to time.
Appointment will be on contractual basis initially
for one year with a provision of extending up to a maximum of two years. The
contract may be renewed based on satisfactory performance and necessity of the
Institute.
