candidates having Indian citizenship as mentioned in Article 5 to 8 of the
Constitution of India and Having requisite qualification as per norms of
Medical Council of India from recognized medical institutions for recruitment
to the various entry level posts of Medical & Non-Medical faculty in
various Departments of Medical Colleges in the State of Assam under the Health
& Family Welfare Department, Government of Assam, as indicated below:

Scale: Rs.57700- 182400/- (Academic Level 10) plus other
allowances as admissible under Rules.
Age
Limit: A candidate should not be less than 21 Years and
more than 38 Years as on 01/01/ 2019. The Upper age limit is relaxable up to
5(five) Years in case of SC / STP & STFI candidates.
Relaxation:
The Upper Age limit is relaxable
(i) By 5 Years in case of SC / ST candidate i.e. up
to 43 years
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. 41
years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP.6/2016/9 dated 25/04/2018.
(iii) For Person with Disabilities (PWD) by 10 years
irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidates as per Govt.
Notification No. ABP. 144/95/121 dated 28/10/2015.
Educational
Qualification: Please check advertisement details.
There shall be 30% Reservation for Women candidates
out of the existing percentage of reservation of posts earmarked for General /
ST (P) / ST (H) / SC / OBC & MOBC/ EWS wherever it is applicable subject to
fulfillment of other criteria. There will be 3% reservation for Person with
Disabilities as per Provision of relevant Act & Rules.
Willing and eligible Doctors serving under
Directorate of Health Services (DHS), Assam and other Govt. agencies will be
eligible to apply and no separate NOC from the State Govt. will be required to
apply for these posts.
Application
Fee:
i. Application must be accompanied with required
application fee of Rs. 250/- (rupees two hundred fifty) only for General
category candidates and Rs. 150/- (rupees one hundred fifty) only for
OBC/MOBC/SC/ST (P)/ST (H) candidate.
ii. No application fee is required for Candidates
having BPL certificate and PWD certificate. Application fee should be deposited
only through Treasury Challan in the Head of Account "0210-Medical and
Public Health-01-Urban Health Services-800-Other Receipt".
The fees are not refundable and no other mode of
deposit of fee other than through Treasury Challan shall be accepted.
How to Apply:
Online application will be received till 04/07/2019 10/07/2019.
Applicants have to produce the original testimonials including the copy of
original Treasury Challan along with the downloaded applications, during the
time of interview, schedule of which will be published in the website
https://nhm.assam.gov.in, in due course of time.
All applicants are advised to visit the website
accordingly. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
