In cancellation of earlier two advertisements dated
27.12.2017 & 22.06.2018, Social Welfare Department, Govt. of Assam proposes
to invite fresh applications for filling up the posts of 2(two) Nos. of Members
in Assam State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (ASCPCR) as mentioned
in Section 17(2) (d) of the CPCR Act.
The Assam State Commission for Protection of Child
Rights (ASCPCR) is a statutory body, constituted by Government of Assam in
exercise of the powers conferred on and performs the functions assigned to it
under the Commission for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005.

Eligibility
Criteria: To be appointed as Member, a person has to be an
eminent person, below the age of 60 years and has done outstanding work for
promoting the welfare of children, particularly in the field of:- (i)
Education; (ii) Elimination of Child Labour or Children in distress.
Pay
Scale: The salaries and allowances payable to and other
terms and conditions of service of the members shall be such as may be
prescribed by the State Government.

received in the Office of Addl. Chief Secretary, Social Welfare Department.

Those who have already submitted applications in
response to the advertisements dated 27.12.2017 & 22.06.2018 need to apply
afresh if they fulfill the new criterion. However, for those who have crossed
the bar of maximum age at the time of submission of application afresh as per
new advertisement but were eligible as per earlier advertisements will also be
considered to be eligible to apply afresh.
