Educational
Qualification:
a) The minimum qualifications required for the post
of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor, shall be as specified
by the UGC in these Regulations.
b) The National Eligibility Test (NET) or an
accredited test (State Level Eligibility Test SLET) shall remain the minimum
eligibility for appointment of Assistant Professor and equivalent positions
wherever provided in these Regulations. Further, SLET shall be valid as the
minimum eligibility for direct recruitment to Universities in the respective
state only.
c) A minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in
a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed) at the Master’s level
shall be the essential qualification for direct recruitment of teachers and
other equivalent cadres at any level.

Fee:
Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 400/- for SC/ST/PWD) has to be remitted through RTGS/NEFT to
SBI, Manipur University Branch, Canchipur, Imphal India.
