Pay & Allowances:
During the initial training period, a stipend of ₹ 14,600/- per month will be
admissible. On successful completion of initial training, they will be placed
in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix (₹ 21,700- ₹ 69,100). In addition, they
will be paid MSP @ ₹ 5200/- per month plus DA (as applicable) plus ‘X’ Group pay
{only for Artificer Apprentice (AA)} @ ₹ 3600/- per month plus DA (as
applicable) as under trainee and ₹ 6200/- per month plus DA on successful
completion of AICTE recognized Diploma Course.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
(a) AA: Qualified in 10+2 examination with 60% or more
marks in aggregate with Maths & Physics and at least one of these
subjects:- Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School
Education recognised by MHRD, Govt. of India.
(b) SSR: Qualified in 10+2 examination with Maths
& Physics and atleast one of these subjects: - Chemistry/Biology/Computer
Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by MHRD, Govt. of India.
Age Limit:
Candidates should be born between 01 Feb 2001 to 31 Jul 2004 (Both dates
inclusive).
Selection Process:
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, an exception is being made
in the public interest wherein approximately 10000 candidates will be called-up
for written examination and PFT. The shortlisting of the candidates for written
examination and Physical Fitness Test (PFT) will be undertaken on the basis of
percentage of qualifying examination (10+2 examination). The cut off marks may
vary from state to state as vacancies have been allocated in a state-wise
manner.
