Gauhati University has released a notification for the
recruitment of 1837 Grade III and Grade IV vacancy under Agriculture
Department, Assam, Khanapara and its Districts Offices. Interested and eligible candidates may apply

The extended dates for various sanctioned
vacant posts under Agriculture Department, Assam, Khanapara and its Districts
Offices will be live from 22nd March, 2021 till 12th April, 2021 in the Gauhati
University.

1. Agriculture Extension Assistant (AEA)

Educational Qualification: HS
passed in any discipline from any recognised Board/Council/ University. Preference
will be given to those candidates who are passed in Science Stream and having
Rural Back Ground certificate.
2. Junior Assistant

Citizenship:
Candidate must be Indian Citizen, ordinarily resident of Assam.
Employment Exchange Registration
Certificate: He/She must have registered his /her name
in any Employment Exchange of Assam.
Age Limit:
Candidate should not be more than 40 years and less than 18 years of age as on
1st January, 2020
Age Relaxation:
Upper age limit is relaxable as under:
i) 03 (three) years in case of candidates belonging to
OBC/MOBC.
ii) 05 (five) years in case of candidates belonging to
SC, ST (P) & ST (H).

Qualification for the post concerned.
iii) Other Technical, Stenography and Computer
certificate/Diploma (Minimum 6 month duration).
iv) Caste Certificate from competent authority in
respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST(P), ST(H) and OBC/MOBC.
v) Valid Employment exchange Registration Card/Certificate.
vi) The candidates willing to apply for the post of
Agril. Extension Assistant, have to furnish the Rural Back ground certificate
in the prescribed Schedule –III.
vii) Passport Size of photograph.
viii) Signature.
